Want to improve your on and off-trail navigation ability? Join us at Richfield Heritage Preserve for a three-hour session that will feature lecture and field work (rain or shine). You will be introduced to topographical and orienteering maps, take a compass bearing using a baseplate compass, learn some important orienteering lingo and techniques, and generally how to be successful as a beginning navigator and orienteer. Join Becky to explore the birds and nature of Kennedy Arboretum and Park throughout the spring season! Birders of all levels welcome. No registration needed. We will see our winter resident birds leave, spring migrants move through, and summer residents move in and nest. Meet in the Schnee Learning Center parking lot. Call with questions- 330-922-4990

3 hours on bike or 4 hours on foot. This is a different kind of race that involves thinking as well as endurance. Search for 68 locations marked on a map of Cuyahoga Falls. Only a few streets are labeled, so stay aware of where you are! Answer a simple question at each checkpoint (e.g., house number of a home with a windmill in the front yard).
