Program Details
For Beginners
We offer hikes for a variety of levels of difficulty. We like to welcome people who are new to the group in our opening name and pronoun circle.
For Groups
We have joined forces with other groups like Cleveland Out And About, Queer Climbing Cleveland, Cleveland Bisexual Plus Network, and the hikers in the North Coast Men's Chorus.
For Families
Some hikes are more kid friendly than others. We have some regulars who bring their small hikers with them. Someone once brought their teenagers and they said it was "dope".
Location & Accessibility
Location Information
Address, trailhead, parking, and directions are included in the details for every hike event. Members of the Facebook group sometimes coordinate carpooling.
Accessibility
Most of our parking lots and bathrooms have ADA compliant bathrooms and parking. Most of the trails are not ADA compliant but those that are will be listed as such. When writing about the difficulty of a trail, I include information such as elevation change, distance, and the conditions of the trail.
Additional Considerations
Our oldest hiker was in their 80s and our youngest have been babies. We are trans affirming and I myself am transgender.
