CliftonStrengths Meets Navigation
Discover and Harness Your Strengths in the Great Outdoors Step into the scenic beauty of the outdoors for an innovative team development experience that blends leadership, communication, and decision-making with outdoor adventure. Turn off technology. We are going back to the basics learning about topographical maps and compasses. This navigation focuses heavily on strategy and effective teams finding markers of various levels of difficulty across the terrain using only a map, compass and your teammates. We will conclude with a debrief reflecting on the experience. This hands-on experience integrates the CliftonStrengths framework, focusing on what’s right with people rather than what’s wrong. Participants will explore their Top 5 CliftonStrengths** and practice applying them in the dynamic outdoor environment. As you tackle navigation challenges, you’ll witness how your unique strengths enhance collaboration and problem-solving, creating a deeper appreciation for the talents within you and your team. When was the last time you did something for the first time? Try Rock Climbing with programming sparking conversion and connections. This experience invites you to step beyond the familiar and into something new together - climbing natural rock. Because it’s in those first-time moments that we discover more about who we are, how we show up, and what we’re capable of becoming. New experiences spark curiosity, challenge assumptions, and create space for authentic connection. When we try something unfamiliar alongside others, connections deepen. Come ready to try something new. Come ready to connect in a different way. Come ready to learn—not just about others, but about yourself. Did you know there’s farming in Cuyahoga Valley National Park? Join All Forward for a behind-the-scenes visit to Oxbow Farm**, where nature, food, and community come together. We’ll meet farmer Kyla and walk the land to learn about her work and the role farming plays in the park. During our visit, you’ll meet the sheep she raises, pick seasonal flowers to take home, and gather for a local food tasting. The experience continues with All Forward CONNECTIONS programming—designed to spark conversation, build community, and expand your circle. You will have time to enjoy the Oxbow Store with a wide range of regionally-sourced items - pottery, wool products, and craft items. Come curious. Leave connected. **Oxbow Farm & Market (also known as Oxbow Orchard) is a diversified, sustainable farm located within the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. The farm uses permaculture and regenerative practices, raising sheep and poultry, and sells products like vegetables, flowers, bread, and handcrafted items. All participants receive tour, local food tasting, All Forward programming and a complimentary year member to the Conservancy for the CVNP ($50 value). All Forward CONNECTIONS: Hike @ Girl Scouts’ Camp Ledgewood & Discover STEM
Nestled in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park is the Girl Scouts of NEO’s Camp Ledgewood and they are cookies, crafts, camping and MUCH MORE. Join us for a special evening filled with inspiration, exploration, and connection. Whether you were a Girl Scout in the past, have a Girl Scout in your life now, interested in STEM education or simply want to be part of the experience, there is something for everyone. Lace up your shoes for a guided All Forward connection hike across the beautiful camp property that will be sure to inspire you. We will have the unique opportunity to meet the Chief Executive Officer, Jane Christyson, and hear her story and the exciting journey behind the creation of the Girl Scouts' new Vivian von Gruenigen, MD, STEM Center of Excellence. We will conclude with a tour of the STEM Center and local snacks. This is a chance to connect with the heart of Girl Scouts, discover what’s being built for the future, and share meaningful conversations and connections with other participants. All participants receive customized hike, tour of STEM Center, local snacks, a complimentary year member to the Conservancy for the CVNP ($50 value). Minimum age 18. *Hike may be modified based on weather conditions and group. Planned for up to 2 miles varying terrain. We will have headlamps for short walk to STEM Center as the sunsets.
