To preserve and protect for public use and enjoyment the historic, scenic, natural, and recreational values of the Cuyahoga River Valley, to maintain the open space necessary for the urban environment, and to provide for the recreational and educational needs of the visiting public.

We focus on Preventative Search and Rescue topics for recreation opportunities. This is the idea of education and planning preparedness to reduce the need for search and rescue events. We offer a number of beginner programs and our focus is on providing recreational access to all.
