Float the River is designed so anyone can enjoy a day on the water even if you have never done it before. We take care of everything for you: tubes, kayaks, rafts, life jackets, safety gear, and shuttle transportation. All you have to do is show up and be ready for a great time. Safety is our number one priority. Our staff is trained in river safety and we constantly monitor conditions, canceling trips if the water is too high, too fast, or if lightning is in the area. Every trip starts with clear instructions and a safety briefing, and life jackets are always provided and required for certain age groups. For first timers, we keep our routes beginner friendly with a gentle current and no technical paddling required. We make it easy to relax, have fun, and feel confident on the river — even if it is your very first trip.
At Float the River, we host groups of all kinds: corporate outings, church groups, youth programs, bachelor and bachelorette parties, family reunions, and more. We can accommodate groups from a handful of people to well over 100, and we make the entire process easy by handling all the gear, transportation, and logistics so your group can simply show up and have fun. While we do not have a dedicated event space, we can help connect groups with local parks, pavilions, or restaurants for before or after their float. For school groups, youth programs, or nonprofits, we can incorporate an educational component about river ecology, wildlife, and water safety. We offer discounted rates for nonprofits, schools, and large groups, and we are happy to customize trips to meet your needs, including special launch times, group check-in, and keeping your crew together on the water as much as possible. If your group is looking for an easy, safe, and memorable way to get outside, Float the River is built for it.
